There were eleven original Immortals who came to Earth and created the Vampires. Ten of these Immortals gifted a unique power from telekinesis to shapeshifting to the fledglings of their Bloodline. Though the ten Immortals have long since faded into obscurity – if they ever existed at all – their gifts live on in every new Vampire made and the tattoos that magically appear on their right wrists.

Of the eleventh Immortal, Daemon – the First Among Equals and King – no fledglings have ever been found. But some Vampires, to this day, look for the infinity symbol, Daemon’s Bloodline, on each others’ wrists, which will signal the return of their king.
